Pre-harvest effects on shelf-life and freshness of vegetables

The shelf-life and freshness is rated very highly by consumers when they buy vegetables.

A recent project run jointly by AHR and the NSW Department of Primary Industries, has reviewed the latest scientific literature on pre-harvest effects on vegetable freshness and quality, and produced 3 new fact sheets summarising the results.
