Pre-harvest effects on shelf-life and freshness of vegetables

The shelf-life and freshness is rated very highly by consumers when they buy vegetables.A recent project run jointly by AHR and the NSW Department of Primary Industries, has reviewed the latest scientific literature on pre-harvest effects on vegetable freshness and quality, and produced 3 new fact sheets summarising the results.
