Project and Contract Coordinator - Horticultural Research

About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-driven Project & Contracts Coordinator. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to:
Lead a cutting-edge national research project
Coordinate a major weed mechanisation initiative in vegetable cropping. This grower-focused project is exploring non-chemical weed control using autonomous technologies.
Key tasks include:
Plan, implement, and monitor project activities across different workstreams
Support and coordinate internal teams
Liaise with growers, partners, and other stakeholders as the key point of contact for the project
Track deliverables and prepare milestone reports
Coordinate evaluation and impact reporting
Facilitate site visits, meetings, and workshops
Help develop extension and communication outputs
Manage contracts across the business
Support governance and compliance by overseeing contracts for a diverse portfolio of RD&E projects.
Key tasks include:
Draft, review, and manage contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and variations (using templates or external legal input)
Align terms with project and funding body requirements
Maintain version-controlled contract records
Track compliance with key terms, milestones, and IP
Coordinate with finance on invoicing and budgets
Maintain project risk registers, communication plans, budgets and reporting timelines
