Applied Horticultural Research is offering a disease diagnostic service to Australian mushroom growers using methods developed and equipment funded under the AMGA/Hort Innovation mushroom molecular disease diagnostic project MU12007. The diseases are:

  • Cobweb (Cladobotryum mycophilum)

  • Dry bubble (Lecanicillium fungicola (RPB1))

  • Bacterial blotch (Pseudomonas tolaasii)

  • Green mould (Trichoderma sp.) and a seperate test for Trichoderma aggressivum.

Testing is quick, reliable, and a great way of monitoring the effectivness of current farm disease management strategies.
