Potato Link logo white.jpg

The PotatoLink project aims to bring Australian potato growers the resources they need to maximise profitability and yield. The project will build stronger local and international networks between the potato processing companies, key industry bodies, commercial advisors and growers, and build leadership by linking to the Growing Leaders program for fresh market, processing and seed potato sectors.

Activities include field days, workshops, demo sites, offering a data-rich website (potatolink.com.au – click here) and industry communication through different channels including e-newsletter, quarterly magazine, social media.

PotatoLink will bring the industry a fresh approach on:

·        Crop protection (pests, diseases, weeds, biosecurity)

·        Soil health (nutrition, irrigation, soil organic matter, soil biology…)

·        International trade analysis

·        Technology advances (pre- and postharvest)

·        Strategies to enhance returns on investment

·        Grower workshops, demo sites
