The effects of no-till vegetable farming on greenhouse gas emissions and soil carbon
This project measured greenhouse gas emissions and soil carbon levels from lettuce, broccoli, cabbage and potato crops to supplement automated data collection.
What was done
Greenhouse gas emissions and soil carbon levels from lettuce, broccoli, cabbage and potato crops were measured under conventional and minimum tillage cultivation at Camden, NSW. Soil carbon and greenhouse gas emission were measured and methods developed to collect greenhouse gas emission data using a static system to supplement automated data collection.
