Summary

Our goal is to make healthy foods affordable to consumers in the countries we operate, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Benin, and the Philippines.  This involves promoting diets that are diverse, nutritious, and safe to reduce the number of people at risk of all forms of malnutrition and diet linked morbidity and mortality.  AHR leads a package of work on postharvest and food safety.  We are focused on working with clusters of small holder farmers and scaling co-designed approaches to boost the consumption of perishable fresh produce.  We want to understand mechanisms for success, how cost-effective they are, and the impact of each approach.
